The Marking Tool allows the instructor to highlight, in any colour of choice, the words, sentences, paragraphs, or sections of a paper submitted by a student and place one of the selected annotations over the highlighted area. When the students read the paper and places the mouse over the highlighted areas, the selected annotation shows up. The instructor can also include personal annotations and use the calendar to let the student know when the revised paper is to be submitted again. The Marking Tool uses Microsoft Word but other programs can be used with it as well. |
